The ETRL organises the annual extramural meeting in a city where one of the Eurotransplant affiliated laboratories is situated, together with the local laboratory. The purpose of these meetings is to gather with representatives of the tissue typing centers within Eurotransplant to discuss matters on histocompatibility testing within Eurotransplant. Fixed topics are the discussion on the ETRL EPT results, news from the Tissue Typing Advisory Committee, and a scientific lecture from a local researcher.
